Case Studies

  • Client:

    Barron Duquette
  • Objectives:

To conceptualize a completely original pop-up store environment; to emphasize Barron Duquette’s brand message to fashion-forward contemporary audience; to design and produce physical store environment in limited time window.
  • Strategy:

In House Creative worked with contemporary womenswear designer Barron Duquette to create an environment for the brand’s pop-up store at Fred Segal Flair. To reflect the brand aesthetic, IHC proposed a striking setting with black and white accents, tufted leather furnishings and zebraskin rugs, crowned with a glossy black chandelier. Over 20 Neal Preston custom prints of counterculture art heroes like Iggy Pop and Jimmy Paige were installed to complement the Barron Duquette image. We created detailed renderings, custom wallpaper and an art exhibition space, and installed all components before the grand opening.
  • Result:

The Barron Duquette brand was eloquently represented and the brand message was enhanced by IHC’s design scheme. Mainstream media at the grand opening reported not only on the celebrity hosts but on the notable interior and the unique way of previewing a brand’s collection.
